So, bad news first. Broken Bells’ second studio album, After the Disco, the follow-up to the duo’s 2011 self-titled debut, has been pushed back from next week to 4 February. The good news? They have just dropped a new single, this one the album’s title-track.
While “Holding On For Life” proved that Danger Mouse and James Mercer had brushed up on their Bee Gees, “After the Disco” finds the duo diving headfirst into an infectious dance-pop backdrop.
Pre-order the album (via iTunes) and get “Holding On For Life” and “After the Disco” immediately.
