Off the heels of “The Mother We Share” (2012) and “Recover” (2013), CHVRCHES’ follow-up single shows the band scoring another instantly rewarding and enduring pop hit held together by Lauren Mayberry’s earnest vocals, emotionally charged and coyly venomous.
Virgin/Goodbye will release “Gun” in the U.K. on 15 July, while the band’s “The Mother We Share” will see a single release on 18 June in the States.
The Bones Of What You Believe is out 24 September 2013 in America via Glassnote. Out internationally the day prior.
