Disclosure is only a couple weeks away from unleashing their debut LP, and we’ve already heard the fantastic singles “Latch,” “White Noise,” and “You and Me.” While those songs feature the same basic verse-chorus-verse structure (to admittedly fantastic results), their latest offering, “When A Fire Starts To Burn,” is a whole other beast altogether. The duo builds the song around one lyric, the one that gives the song its name, as we all wait for the proverbial flames to erupt. The fire never comes, with the beat building to and remaining at a scolding simmer, as the duo effectively toys with our expectations. It’s a welcome deviation from their tried-and-true formula, and a song that proves these guys are far more than your average house DJ’s.

Settle is out 3 June internationally via PMR Records, with the U.S. receiving the album on 4 June via Interscope.
